Radio

Here are some of the highlights from my career working in radio:

BASEBALL PLAY BY PLAY: Here are two clips with the first one showing how I announce a baseball game and the second tape displays a highlight reel.

COVERING BREAKING NEWS: On the morning of July 6th, I was joined by Bill McKeon for his first exclusive interview as the interim manager of the Evansville Otters. Bill talks about his transition to the dugout, what his managing style is like and how he was presented with this unique opportunity.

INTERVIEW HOST: Here is a segment that I did for the Evansville Otters pregame show on WUEV 91.5 FM with the catcher of the team, Billy Killian. It aired as a segment of the Player’s Perspective on June 23, 2010. Billy lets the listeners underneath the catcher’s mask and into his life as he talks about catching in the heat, the physical toll of being a catcher and more!

MID-GAME INTERVIEW: During a Southern Illinois Miners and Evansville Otters game on June 25th, I had the pleasure of interviewing 12-year old sports reporter Sam Barloga. An aspiring writer, Sam was on a cross-country trip with his father Mitch as they shadowed local journalists. Here is my conversation with Sam…

PODCAST HOST: This is an example of a new segment that Quinnipiac Athletic Director Jack McDonald and I created in 2008. It was called “Bobcat Weekly” and I hosted the 5-minute podcast every week for the Quinnipiac University Bobcats. Here is a clip.

POSTGAME HOST: Here we have a copy of a postgame show I broadcasted on July 6th, 2010. It featured a wild comeback for the Evansville Otters with a walk-off three run home run from Jake Rogers. Fans can hear a game recap, full highlights including the home run, a player of the game presentation and more.
