Biography
Mike Radomski is a sports reporter from Saddle Brook, New Jersey who is committed to covering sports in a hard working, creative and entertaining manner.
Mike started his broadcasting career in high school when his father tried to get the sports-crazed freshman to do something about his passion. Following his father’s push, Mike started to appear on Bergen Catholic’s television station BCTV as one of the school’s sports reporters. Once he got a taste for the business, he couldn’t have enough of it. Mike started to make regular appearances on the morning show and took over as the lead sports anchor during his sophomore year. He held the same position through senior year where he also took on the role as the producer and morning headlines host as well. Also in high school, Radomski played a critical role in the school’s newspaper The Herald, where he was the sports editor his junior year and editor-in-chief his senior year as well. Mike would go on to receive accolades from the Bergen Catholic faculty as the senior award winner for television and newspaper as he graduated as a part of the National Honor Society.
Radomski continued his education at Quinnipiac University where he followed his passion for sports as a broadcast journalism major and sports studies minor. He became involved the very first weekend of school as he started to write stories for the school’s television station Q30 while also announcing games for the school’s radio station WQAQ. Mike showed his hard work and dedication by assisting as a copy writer, camera operator, floor manager, and weatherman during his freshman year. Because of his efforts, Radomski was promoted to be the sports anchor his sophomore year where he gained more valuable experience on set. But even after the many years of television work, Mike soon found that radio was his true calling for broadcasting. Radomski had a radio show for four years at WQAQ (Rad Radio Sports Show, Mike and Mike Sports Show) and also announced a dozen different Division 1 sports for the Bobcat Sports Network. He also assumed the role of co-sports director at WQAQ for one year and doubled the number of broadcasts to 200 per year. This also included the introduction of traveling on the road with the baseball and softball teams where Mike gained experience on working with a team for a full season. During the four years of college, Mike Radomski received a number of awards including two lifetime achievement awards, best broadcaster, and the Quinnipiac University Award for Excellence in Sports and Media.

The matrix board at Historic Bosse Field reminds the fans how to listen to Mike's broadcast on the radio.
After graduating on May 16th in 2010, Mike packed up his car overnight, drove to Indiana and began his career as a professional baseball broadcaster with the Evansville Otters of the Frontier League. Radomski announced 94 games that summer for the team along with color commentator and local legend, Bill McKeon. Mike also updated the website on a daily basis and served as a contact between the media and the team. After a season of broadcasting, swapping stories and traveling, Radomski returned home to New Jersey as a sports editor for Patch.com and the Fort Lee branch. There, he wrote feature stories, game summaries, and insightful stories of life-saving heroics, how sports saved a local basketball star and more compelling compilations. After connecting the Fort Lee community to this first ever 24/7 access, Mike arrived back in Indiana this May to continue as the Director of Media Relations and Broadcasting with the Otters.
Mike would like to thank the Evansville Otters for allowing him to work at a ballpark every day and truly to do what he loves most. Radomski also wanted to thank his family for their undying support and continuous belief in the dedication of his dream.
